This was the first local brew I had in San Jose, Costa Rica.

We had these with lunch at Nuestra Tierra in San Jose with good food and live music.
I wish I remembered the name of the one on the left, it was good.

On our visit to a coffee plantation outside San Jose we learned their way to make the best cup of coffee

At the pineapple plantation they served these refreshing drinks.
Fruit juice fortified with Guaro, a clear liquor distilled from fermented sugar cane juice.
They also served this pineapple cocktail.
A very local west coast IPA craft brew we had at the El Perezoso near Arenel.
On the left is the most impressive drink of the trip.
Nancy had it at dinner in La Fortuna near the Arenel volcano.
On the right is a simple margarita also quite acceptable.
